Campus Enterprise Opportunities at De Montfort University, Leicester
Campus Enterprise Opportunities (CEO) helps students staff and graduates of De Montfort University to activate their ideas. CEO events help to increase a student’s business start-up knowledge and provides valuable inspiration to help them develop their idea further. CEO is a separate project, which is part of the Business Incubation and Enterprise department that works out of the Innovation Centre at DMU.

Making it! and Leicester College
Here is just a snapshot of how Making IT! works and some of the projects it has delivered to date. As a starting point for its local delivery, Making It! was delighted to win a contract to deliver three enterprise events in the Leicestershire area through a Skills for Enterprise managed, Leicester Shire Economic Partnership funded programme, to celebrate Enterprise Week during 2008. Each event was a great example of how a private sector partner could work collaboratively with an education provider to deliver an excellent enterprise solution for young people.

The Enterprise Academy - Ashfield, Bolsover and Mansfield building enterprise capabilities
The Enterprise Academy is an exciting project funded through the Local Enterprise Organisation (LEO) programme located in the Ashfield, Bolsover and Mansfield Districts in the former North Notts and Derbyshire Coalfields. Managed on behalf of LEO by no limits education, the aim of the programme is to build enterprise capabilities in twelve target schools and engage employers helping develop young peoples’ enterprise skills. As a LEO funded initiative, the Enterprise Academy is unique in the East Midlands and is already showing results.

NBV – Nottinghamshire’s premier enterprise agency
NBV has provided guidance and assistance to new businesses across the East Midlands since 1982. With a main office base in at the Shipstone’s Business Centre in New Basford, Nottingham, the agency also has offices in Ashfield, Bassetlaw, Mansfield and Newarke as well as at New Brook House in Nottingham City. It also delivers a start-up service in Lincolnshire.
