Expert Group on Entrepreneurship in Vocational Education
A European Expert Group on Entrepreneurship in Vocational Education has found that education for entrepreneurship can be particularly effective in initial vocational training, as students are close to entering working life and self-employment may be a valuable option for them. Its recently published report entitled “Entrepreneurship in Vocational Education and Training”emphasises that the uptake of entrepreneurship education in European schools is still far from being fully satisfactory. Enterprise Matters: Unleashing Enterprise Talent in the Further Education Sector
Unleashing Enterprise and the Colleges-University of Leicester Network (CULN) recently hosted a Further Education best practice event at John Foster Hall, Leicester University. The event enabled delegates to hear about national strategy regarding enterprise education within the further education sector and to also show existing examples of good practice both within the East Midlands and across the UK.
