Young People’s attitudes to enterprise research published

In June 2009, Enterprise UK commissioned ComRes to conduct a survey of young people’s attitudes towards entrepreneurship and their views about setting up their own business. ComRes interviewed a representative sample of 2019 young people aged 16-30 living in the UK.
The findings show that while 52% of young people have considered setting up their own business, only 7% have actually set up their own business. 42% of young people have no interest in setting up a business. To read the research visit: http://www.enterpriseuk.org/publications/attitude_problems
