Northamptonshire became the first county in the East Midlands to launch a sub-regional enterprising capabilities action plan at an event held at the Kettering Conference Centre on the 22nd March. The event, which also saw a range of Northamptonshire enterprise projects showcased, provided an opportunity for NEL to consult about the vision underpinning the strategy which is essentially to provide a clear vision for the development of an enterprise culture in Northamptonshire.
Chris Shaw, Regional Manager for Unleashing Enterprise, was one of the speakers at the event and congratulated NEL on its enterprise in taking forward this initiative. He stated “NEL has seen the value of brining stakeholders and key partners in the world of enterprise together to develop and deliver a plan that will have real impact across a wide range of enterprise agendas in the future, not least an enhanced enterprise offer for young people in schools and colleges.”
