Business in the Community to host Big Conversation event in Nottingham on March 16th

Date: 02/03/2010

The Department for Children, Schools and Families in collaboration with Business in the Community (BITC) are bringing together chief executives, business leaders and young people to enable them to join a national debate and to work together to improve work experience opportunities across the country.

The Work Inspiration campaign aims to mobilise businesses to turn work experience into work inspiration, and to help bridge the gap that exists between the classroom and the world of work.

The campaign was launched at the first Big Conversation held on September 15, 2009, convened by Sir Stuart Rose, the Chairman of BITC and Chairman of M&S, which, launched a national call to action to business leaders, to improve work experience.
Business in the Community East Midlands is hosting another Big Conversation event on the 16th March at Alliance Boots in Nottingham. For more information about the event and to register, go here.
